Blogging Student of the Week
I have decided to nominate one student each week that has been the best blogger of the week. If you want to vote for someone you can vote before the end of the day each Friday, just comment on this post you need to include: the person's name, a link to their blog and why you are voting for them.
I will be looking for a few things in specific ...
1. You blogged at least 2 times during the week.
2. You used the words you know in English.
3. You are being creative and speaking your mind.
Have fun this week and let's see who is the student of the week. By the way if you are the Blogger of the Week then you will receive 5 extra points on your exit project. Good Luck!
(I will be checkign blogger and tumblr)
What Missael Learned
Missael explains what he learned from this project about his country and uses the words he knows in English (party, I learned).
Country Project Reflections
This is a clip of Claudia reflecting on what shelearned from her project. I will post pictures of the projects next.
Family
Family is a little difficult to define. Some would say a mom, dad, and some kids. Maybe a group of people joined through blood. Some would say a bunch of close knit friends.
I’d like to think of family as a group of people who sacrifice themselves on daily basis for the people they love. This sacrifice is not for praise or recognition, but for the happiness that comes when you know you are giving yourself for the ones you love.
My Weekend
This weekend was busy, but fun. My brother in law and cousins were here in New York. They arrived on Friday morning and went to Central park. After work, I went home and all of us went to eat at China Star, a restaurant by my house.
On Saturday, we went to Times Square and had a lot of fun. My cousins really liked seeing Times Square because the have never visited. Then on Sunday, we went to breakfast and then went to Chinatown. My cousin, Kari bought a purse. Then we went to Little Italy and ate lunch. At 6pm they left for the airport.
I had a lot of fun with them. I hope they can visit again soon.
